SEBG promotes the vision and represents the interests of progressive rural estates. A dynamic and outward looking organisation, SEBG brings a modern business approach to managing Scotland's rural assets in a way which is economically, environmentally and socially sustainable.
We invest in and manage these assets in order to stimulate, develop and sustain businesses and communities in rural Scotland.
SEBG's Objectives:
- To promote better and wider understanding of the positive and constructive role played by progressive estates in Scotland's rural areas
- To articulate the views of Scotland's progressive estates
- To promote the economic, social and environmental well-being of Scotland's rural areas and our Members' role in delivering corporate social responsibility.
- To contribute practical support to rural business development
The Group is committed to developing links with the wider rural and business communities, the Scottish Executive and the Scottish Parliament to ensure the rural agenda is reflected in mainstream business activity in order to help maintain a vibrant rural economy.
SEBG adopts a modern business approach to integrated land management and is committed to best practices in the sector. Its Members, estates both large and small, subscribe to a Code of Good Practice and have an established track record of working in partnership with others to help maintain a vibrant rural economy.
